Hot Section Cook - Restaurant Blend
We are looking for a skilled and motivated Hot Section Cook to join our kitchen team. You will be responsible for executing all hot line dishes to the highest standards of quality, consistency, and speed throughout service.
მოვალეობები:- Operate the hot section station, including sauté pans, fryers, flat top, ovens, and burners
- Prepare and cook dishes to order following established recipes, portion sizes, and plating standards
- Manage multiple tickets simultaneously while maintaining speed and quality under pressure
- Monitor and control cooking temperatures across all hot section equipment
- Communicate clearly with the rest of the line team and the expeditor during service
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation throughout the shift
- Properly store, label, and rotate ingredients according to food safety standards
- Carry out prep work and mise en place before service
- Perform station opening and closing duties as required
- Minimum 1 year of experience working on a hot section or kitchen line
- Proficiency with hot section equipment — sauté, braising, frying, oven work, etc.
- Ability to stay calm and work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Good knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards (food handler certification is a plus)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Physical stamina — ability to stand for extended periods in a hot kitchen environment
