"მეღვინეობა ხარება" is a wine-producing company based on ancient traditions. The company works on preserving the unique vine culture and producing wine using both ancient methods and the latest technologies.

The company owns 1500 hectares of land, where unique Georgian and European vine varieties are cultivated, from which high-quality wines are produced. Wine production takes place in the East - specifically in Kakheti, and in the West - Imereti, Racha, and Lechkhumi.

The company "Winery Khareba" announces a vacancy for the position of Chief Accountant.

Location: Tbilisi

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 08:30-17:30

Salary: 5000 GEL

Main Responsibilities:

• Developing the company's accounting policy and controlling the execution of accounting operations.
• Preparation/submission/processing of tax declarations.
• Controlling the compliance and legality of accounting operations, and adherence to accounting discipline.
• Development/management of the internal control system.
• Verification of accruals for debtors-creditors, loan obligations, and financial lease operations, considering established standards and contractual terms.
• Control over the accuracy of inventory, accounting, and warehouse balances, as well as the accounting of fixed assets.
• Control over the accuracy of production operations.
• Control over the accounting of agricultural operations.
• Control over the accuracy of expense and material-raw material write-off operations.
• Monthly closing of the accounting base, i.e., closing operations within the established deadline.
• Preparation and submission of declarations in accordance with its software base and legal requirements, and control of relevant entries in the program.
• Communication and cooperation with financial institutions, the statistical department, the Ministry of Finance, audit companies, and other agencies within the scope of competence.

Qualifications:

• Higher education in accounting, finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Thorough knowledge of tax legislation.
• Possession of professional certificates ACCA or/and CPA.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Chief Accountant.
• Experience working with ERP systems (MC NAV).
• High-level knowledge of office computer programs.
